Now that spring is finally blooming in the Midwest, we are able to see life blossoming back into nature.
A perfect photo project, to get more used to your camera, is find a budding tree, blooming flowers, or even an animal running around. This is the perfect way to get used to finding your pathway on knowing what ISO and f-stops to use while focusing on a certain object outside.
When it comes to focusing on the object through the lens, sometimes it does not turn out the way you want all the time. The best way to get used to your camera's focusing functions is to find that specific object.
Flowers have always been a focus point for me. I want the camera to be able to pick up the detail in their petals and show the vibrant color in which they can have.

Being able to show the difference between a focused picture like this one, over the one below.

On your camera, hold the button half way down to let your lens be able to focus in on the subject you are capturing. If your camera tries to focus on a point on or beyond the subject that you don't want, re-position the camera just a little bit and try again.
Finding your focus is just one quick and easy step to get closer to being your own photographer!
